  • AR. Randy Chan

    PRINCIPAL

    One of Singapore’s leading young architects, Randy’s architectural and design experience crosses multiple fields and scales, all guided by the simple philosophy that architecture and aesthetics are part of the same impulse. This multidisciplinary has seen him work on a challenging and diverse range of projects in Singapore and abroad which have garnered much praise in the press, features in publications, as well as critical acclaim and awards internationally. Recent accolades include the Singapore Institute of Architects gold medal for the 38 Holland Park in 2010 and the President's Design Award 2013 for his collaborative artwork ‘Building as a Body’.

  • Linda Koay

    PARTNER

    Founder of Design Act, Linda has helmed contract operations of various scales in the interior design industry since 1989. Project completed successfully under her purview include offices, an entertainment hub, galleries, retails outlets, club houses and many more. Linda's acumen is partly honed by more than 20 years of experience and the uncanny ability to envisage objective-driven possibilities within each project phase. Her resource management skills and visionary leadership influences and propels each project team towards comprehensive achievements and excellence.

  • AR. Eugene Tan

    DIRECTOR

    Eugene Tan is an architect and designer. A DesignSingapore Council Scholar, he studied and graduated from the Architectural Association (AA) in London, and his work received international praise, including a Bronze for the Tschuira City Master Plan at the 24th UIA World Architecture Congress in Tokyo and exhibition at the 26th Space Prize in South Korea. He has worked on various competitions and been involved in the design and implementation of a wide range of projects in Zarch since his return from the United Kingdom. Eugene has taught at the AA Visiting Summer School and continues to contribute to academia as a guest speaker and critic for various design schools.

Who is Zarch?

Zarch is an architectural studio practicing within the conventional realms of architecture and planning; an atelier that wields an architectural approach in an expansive, collaborative field of arts, design, and beyond. We identify with our abilities of handling a great diversity of projects, spanning across genres, scales, complexities and disciplines.

Through establishing a deep understanding of site, context and meaning, we serve to deliver bespoke projects of deep value to our clients through our meticulous approach and sensitivity. We explore the conventional or traditional programs that may be re-imagined and combined to create new patterns, opportunities and artistic expression that adapt to future work and lifestyle.

Our creative process honours the dynamism of mixing invigorated individuals and talents across different disciplines to build upon a collaborative vision. Actively engaged in the context and conversations regarding the architecture field, both in Singapore and beyond, we generate inspiration from the cross fertilisation of our varied projects, explorations, collaborations, events and conversations.
