CONVERSATIONS IN EDEN 003: Show Suites

Show Suite’s seek to creatively examine the dialectic between real estate (re)development and the architectural imagination. Playing on the theme of ‘selling’ within the ongoing backdrop of hype over en bloc redevelopment, ‘Show Suite’ attempts to promote and market select speculative propositions for alternate (and perhaps plausible) futures of endangered modern-period Singapore architecture. 

Featuring projects from within and beyond the field of architecture, this exhibition and forum seeks to avoid an academic treatment of the subject by portraying these projects through a public lens in order to develop both the projects and the issues with an added layer of relevance. ‘Show Suites’ intend to serve as a transformative platform for the shared appropriation of architectural heritage and its collective shaping by stakeholders.
